Excited with Toys Festival – Summer 2012
IPS Toy Festival is celebrated at almost all campuses of the IPS and AHS. It is the event which gathers a massive collection of products which are toy models of various kinds: motors, cars, airplanes, helicopters, warships, boats, ships, robots, assembly models, etc. These toy are in modern designs and illustrate contemporary produced toy, with minute control systems, various sizes and different colors. Especially, toy which are controlled by modern technology such as iphone, ipod, ipad are also brought to this festival.
Toy Festival is a useful playground which encourages the students within a campus as well as the whole system of IPS to gather, communicate with each other and exchange relations via presenting and observing the modern toy models, listening to and sharing the experience of preparing the attractive toy shows. Thus, the students will be encouraged not only to practice observing, thinking and judging skills but also to increase solidarity and develop their group work skills.
To welcome an exciting and enjoyable summer with the students, the IPS has recently opened the Toy Festival 2012 jubilantly at almost all campuses of the IPS. This is the school’s annual extracurricular activity, an occasion for all students to gather and exchange in order to improve their cleverness and intelligence when competing and testing the strength of performing the active, creative and interesting toy shows.
The IPS Toy Festival was divided into Campus Tournaments and Finals, which took place from July 16th to July 27th and attracted all students of the IPS to participate. The competing forms were diverse and varied from model assembling, statue coloring, yo-yo, top, doll decorating, remote control toy, etc. Most of them were suitable for their age so the students took part in the festival enthusiastically.
The Steering Committee’s careful and meticulous preparation, from planning competing forms and rules to arranging competing area, brought the students a meaningful festival with funny and interesting toy shows. The students competed eagerly upon their friends’ zealous acclaim and encouragement.
Attending Toy Festival, the students expressed their creativeness and skillfulness through the statue coloring and doll decorating competition. The products which were spectacular and full of childhood’s creativeness included lovely dolls, animals and different kinds of colorful fruits.
