BACKWARD DESIGN WORKSHOP improving the efficiency of English teaching methods
On October 8th, 2016 the International Primary School IPS organized the workshop at Cao Thang campus with all foreign teachers and teaching assistants’ attendance.
The trainer, Mr. Jeffrey Alan Bettencourt, has been an experienced teacher of IPS for several years. With the workshop Mr. Jeffrey Alan Bettencourt introduced the Backward Design lesson plan and some suitable methods for IPS students’ learning process, which helps teachers set clear objectives before designing activities and formative assessment so that their students can reach desired results. Interesting questions asked continuously created exciting discussions and the teachers’ enthusiasm to share teaching experience showed practical features of the workshop.
The same as other workshops organized successfully by the Asian International School Board of Management, it was an opportunity for the teachers to exchange, to learn and to update modern teaching methods in order to bring the best for the students of the Asian International School.
