UNIFORM REGULATIONS

All AHS students must wear the school uniform:

Uniform for schoolboys:white shirt, milk-coffee colored pants.

Uniform for schoolgirls: white shirt, Bordeaux colored skirt.

Students must wear the school uniform during the school-year, in summer course, and in extra-curricular activities.

Schoolboys and schoolgirls sports uniform: Bordeaux colored T-shirt and pants.

Buying the uniform:

At AHS, parents can buy uniforms through the campus’s Supervising department. The cost can be paid at the accounting department of the campus where they pay school fees. Parents can contact the campus’s supervising department to buy uniforms before or after the new school year begins.

After paying the cost, parents submit the receipt to the supervising department. Supervisors will measure the student. Uniforms are delivered to students within a week from the day taking measurements.

Common questions about uniforms:

1. What are school uniform regulations?

Students must wear the right uniform as defined in the schedule.

Any logos, icons, images stuck on uniform with advertising purposes are strictly forbidden.

NStudents must not wear uniforms in a way that reveals underclothes.

Uniform skirts must be long enough to touch knees or longer.

Students are not allowed to roll up the cuffs or sleeves when wearing uniform.

2. Is the school uniform bought at AHS campuses?

Yes, it is. School uniforms can be ordered at the supervising department of the campus where the student is studying or going to study before the new school-year begins. Uniforms are also ordered in the school-year and sent to the class teacher of the student within 1 week from the day of paying uniform cost and taking measurements.

3. I have just bought a white shirt at a fashion shop. It looks like the AHS uniform shirt. Can I buy an AHS logo to stitch on this new shirt?

No. The school only provides its logos when they are stitched onto the school uniform shirt to keep all uniforms identical

4. Which criterions does the school base to design student uniform on?

We design the uniform based on parents’ suggestions and annual polls. On this basis, we sort out designs that have specific characteristics of the school and support student comfort and confidence.

5. Can I take measurements, make or repair my child’s uniform by myself?

School uniform can be adjusted to fit students. However, the uniform’s design can not be changed. Parents can embroider student’s name on his/her uniform.
