“To enable students to study and learn English effectively, The Asian International School has applied the creative English teaching method in many exciting Outside Classes”.

Every week, students in IPS always have a special period, which is very interesting and useful, named Outside Class. This outdoor period helps them to access English more easily through many exciting activities. Here the students can play and learn – learn and play by using English. Many games, songs, and funny dancing movements are applied flexibly and refreshed usually by foreign teachers to encourage students to be more active and positive in their studying.

An overall view of an Outside class period

The foreign teachers’ friendliness in combination with funny and exciting atmosphere enables the students to naturally learn vocabulary about things, animals etc. in English and they do not have to write or learn by heart those vocabulary. Teaching outside classes, teachers also use English songs. When students sing and dance along the music, they can learn many useful phrases such as clap your hands, turn around, sit down etc.

Pictures, games, dancing movements, drawing, singing, acting etc. are said to be good and meaningful activities which can help students partake in an environment that lets them use English naturally, comfortably and be out of the boring classrooms.

Elementary school is a very important stage in the process of learning a foreign language to students. It is considered as the first stage of their new approach to another language except Vietnamese. With devoted Vietnamese teaching staff and good foreign teachers who also expertise in English teaching methods, The Asian International School has planned to build the best teaching methods which can attract the students to simple but useful games and help them access English easily. Moreover, the School also helps the students build their confidence when practicing English.
