The folk game festival not only creates a nice, useful and fun play area for the students but also helps them understand beautiful Vietnamese traditional cultural values and enhances their sense of spiritual and moral values such as maintaining lifelong friendships and the love for family and country.
With the motto ‘Vietnam’s spirit, global education’, in addition to providing an international standard of education and helping students gain a worldly knowledge, the Asian International School attaches special importance to outdoor activities that educate and cultivate the students’ spirit, and guide students to an understanding of traditional cultural values. Every year, the Asian International School organizes different outdoor activities to help students perceive ‘cultural beauty’ which brings many useful results that always surpass the school’s expectations.
The 2015 Folk Game Festival was participated by all students in IPS. The festival was held for the second time from April 16th to April 22nd at all campuses. There were interesting folk games such as: Vietnamese hopscotch, Bamboo dancing, Tug-of-war, Blind man's bluff and many more. The games were played enthusiastically by all teachers and students. Wearing the lovely traditional clothes, the students had a fun day to play games that promote health and encourage clever, skilled and cooperative thinking.
