Lantern Making Contest

  1. Contest Requirements
    • - All students participate in the class.
    • - At least 1 lantern per class.
    • - Expenses of bamboo strips and zinc wires will be covered.
    • - Students should prepare their own colored papers, glues, scissors and pincers.
  2. The Judge Panel
    • - The Judge Panel includes art teachers, school representatives and student representatives.
  3. Judging Criteria
    • - Lanterns will be judged and awards will be made based on the following criteria:
      • + Creativity
      • + Aesthetics
      • + Traditional/Modern Design
      • + Size
      • + Presentation
  4. Contest Prizes
    • - The most impressive lantern prize
    • - The largest lantern prize
    • - The best lantern presentation prize
    • - The most traditional lantern prize
    • - The most contemporary lantern prize
    • - Consolation prizes.
